Warrior Football Update

WOW - what a game!!! On Saturday, November 28th, the Chiefs played their cross-town rivals, the Canyon Outlaws, in a semifinal game. Well, the formerly undefeated Outlaws now have a record of 11-1 thanks to the Chiefs:) Chiefs dominated the game, and Andy sacked the QB! Final score was 26-14. This Saturday the Chiefs will face Camarillo Blue in the Super Bowl. GO CHIEFS!!!

A big thanks to Grandma & Grandpa!!!

They came to our school for Grandparents' Day, met our teachers, and ate lunch with us. Mrs. Rutter (Nick's teacher) really enjoyed Grandpa's story about when he was in 2nd grade:)

Playoffs, round 2, here we come!!!

Warrior Football Update - 11/14/09

Today was the first round of playoffs. Seminoles beat Ventura 14-8. Nicholas, great job!!!

Chiefs shut out the Burbank Vikings 54-0. Andy, awesome job!!! We're so proud of you boys:)

Warrior Football - Saturday October 3, 2009

Nicholas: The Seminoles played Thousand Oaks and lost 26-8:( They played a great game, but T.O. was an awesome team. The Seminoles are 2-2.

Andy: The Chiefs rocked Newbury Park with a final score of 52-12. Both teams were undefeated going into the game. Now the Chiefs are 4-0, and have their toughest opponent coming up this Saturday...the Canyon Outlaws (who are also 4-0 & crosstown rivals).

Father/Daughter Dance 2009

As you can see, grandpa had the pleasure of escorting Sarah to the dance. Dad & Mom were out of town that Friday night (enjoying a few days in Vegas, thanks to grandma & grandpa's awesome Christmas gift). Dad felt bad, but Sarah had a wonderful time with grandpa - he spoils her something aweful!!! Thanks grandpa :-)

School Stuff

Thanks to Mr. G for teaching Sarah all those cool dances from Ghana!

As part of the Arts Program at school, the kids learned about music & dances from other cultures. Sarah played instruments and performed the African dances of Ghana. Nicholas learned all different types of folk dancing. And Andy performed a lockin' hip hop routine, which was actually quite good, but he refuses to put it on the blog :-( Here a few photos from Sarah's performance.
